I’ve been blog surfing when I felt guilty not updating my own blog.
Life in oktoLIVE! has been pretty good so far. Gotta rush out my script soon! Colleagues are funny and really nice to us. And there is just so much laughter in our office everyday! We work, shout, scream, play, laugh, sing, dance, eat.. All in a small room hidden at a corner. I’ll miss the whole bunch when internship ends. 
I’ve been trying to pick up guitar these days, again! Let’s just say I was inspired by someone. The problem with me now is that I’m rather greedy. I’m learning guitar all over again through the very informative teachers – youtube and ultimate-guitar.com. Plus, I’m improving my piano skills, from an amateur to a beginner. Been downloading a couple of music score sheets lately. My conclusion? – I have really small hands with short fingers. Both instruments require relatively long fingers to hit some notes and mine somehow isn’t there yet.
On the other hand, Singapore Short Film Awards is round the corner! I’ve decided to attend at least one of it. I’ve been promising myself to attend these film festivals for years and I’ve only been to one or two so far. So much for a film student.
Check out the official website. Some of the films sounds pretty good. Spoilt for choices now. It makes me reminisce my poly days where we had to shoot short films for project and all. I shall go through my little ‘film ideas’ book (It’s my little doodle book of film ideas and stories ) someday and maybe write, shoot and submit it for the next film award! HAHA. Come and support when the time comes okay?
This reminds me of one of the first film competition that I’ve participated. Though we did not win any award, but I’m proud of it as the process of making it was unforgettable.
Moreover, today is Edwin’s birthday. The tallest actor in the video below. Though he had left us, I’ll always remember that big brother he was to me. So Ed, this is for you!
