Alright. This is my new fascination at the moment. I just caught Food(ography) earlier and it was the episode on Ice cream. The main reason as to why I watch this programme because yes, I like food (Who doesn’t?!) and was really interested to know the extent of how food and science goes. I know the thing I’m looking for is linked to liquid Nitrogen and tadah! I found it today!!
Introducing…. Molecular Gastronomy
In short, its AMAZING! Mind blowing in the way how food can be changed and people’s perception on it. I have this urge to do a mini thesis on this! (without the science part) So I started Google-ing and resulted in 20 tabs relating to Molecular Gastronomy. And behold… the article that caught my eye instantly “Molecular gastronomy in Singapore: Alive and bubbling” – YATTA! ME! ME! How can I NOT know about this?!
4 restaurants were named in that article and I’m definitely gonna go to these restaurants one of these days and get my mind blown LIVE! Don’t worry, I’ll be spamming pictures when I see it.
