After settling in, getting over all the excitement that we have stepped into the world of idol-land. We didn’t follow our initial itinerary diligently as we still had quite a number of things to buy/look around to settle down. Well, it was kind of late to head to the Palace so we carried on the journey at Ssamziegil. We had lunch at Myeondong at this Bon Juk. They were famous for their porridge but silly me went to order this really spicy seafood... Korea Trip Day 2

18 days in Korea officially started on the 17th December 2011. Met Jovis, Ying Ying and Lizzie at the airport about 0745. Checked in and the next thing we knew, we were in Shanghai!! Yep, we took China Eastern Airlines, stopped over at Shanghai International Airport and then about an hour an a half to Incheon International Airport.
Flight experience.
I personally enjoy plane rides in general and experiencing take off and landing are the best parts in the... Choco milk straw.
Bought this milk sippy straw thingy a few days ago and gave it a try just a few seconds ago.
How was it? It’s pretty cool and interesting, but the fad dies off after a few sips.
Oh! the little chocolate balls in it disappears after a while. Managed to taste them too!
well, afterall it says: Dip in milk and sip sip sip!
Worth a try as its not that expensive, but if you want some chocolate milk just go to your nearest shop ti buy a bottle. ... Back from Korea, Back to reality
The year end Korea trip was nothing but amazing and fun! It’s my first time experiencing winter, my fist time touching snow flakes, the first time going on a trip with friends. We stayed in Seoul for 18 days and everyday was like a new joyful time spent with good food and good company. Will be sharing the trip ups and downs in the later posts. Yes, not forgetting the 16Gb worth of photos taken.
Now that it’s been about 4 days since I’ve... Molecular gastronomy
Alright. This is my new fascination at the moment. I just caught Food(ography) earlier and it was the episode on Ice cream. The main reason as to why I watch this programme because yes, I like food (Who doesn’t?!) and was really interested to know the extent of how food and science goes. I know the thing I’m looking for is linked to liquid Nitrogen and tadah! I found it today!!
Introducing…. Molecular Gastronomy
In short, its AMAZING!... Malacca! – ‘We navigate by FOOD!’
From the start, it was planned as a food trip, therefore ‘ We navigate by Food!’. So right. I never been that pleased with food and that contented for the amount of delicacies that was going in. Yummm…
Passed the checkpoint about 6am in the morning? And by 3pm when we checked in the hotel, I was dead tired. -.- It was nothing but good food for the 2 days and lotsa walking-shopping. Feast on these food people!

Chicken Rice balls!... I’m 21!
I finally turned 21 on the 9th of October 2011!
Firstly, thank you all so much for making this occasion such an amazing one. All the time spent on good food, all the laughters and nonsense chatter, the amazing presents, all the different birthday cakes and the wishes from everyone! I feel so blessed to spent this birthday with such amazing people.
5th Oct – My first 21st birthday cake
It started on 5th Oct where we went to House of... Crap! I’m going nuts for CRABS!
I’m a self proclaimed foodie with many other titles, and crabs is ranked the top few of my ‘Flo’s favourite favourite food of all time”. And after Sunday’s awesome crab dinner, those little pincers are climbing high on my list!
To me, crabs are way better than abalone, bird’s nest and even sharks fin. (I cut down on sharks fin by the way, I adore those sea creatures, and it hurts to see photos of them being hunted).... Angry Birds cake
Cookin’ NANTA
Bought tickets to watch Cookin’ Nanta on the 2nd October 2010. They were here in town at the Esplanade theatres from the 1st – 3rd October.
It was nothing but Awesome! Great culinary DRUMMING skills, good use of lighting and sound effects and no doubt top notch entertaining content.
Nanta is a non verbal (minimal) musical where 3 1/2 chefs tries to come out with a range of food for a last minute wedding banquet within a limited time frame....
