Broadcast Asia 2012

A conference and platform for sharing and learning

I was thrilled when I was invited to attend the Broadcast Asia last year, and went back each day happier and inspired. It’s a pity I couldn’t make it this year, but urge all of you who are keen on film and media production to attend. It’s not only fulfilling, but to hear from the experts and industry professionals was a humble yet unforgettable experience for me. Read it all here!

The conference is a one-stop platform for digital animators, CG artists, directors, scriptwriters and everyone else in the creative industry to discuss and debate the trends, opportunities and challenges driving the industry today. The exciting line-up of topics ranges from content formats and mediums, to content distribution for multi-screen environments.

Held over two days at Suntec Singapore, the Creative Content Production Conference will focus on small screen production on Wednesday, 20 June 2012 and big screen production on Thursday, 21 June 2012.

Speakers at the Creative Content Production Conference include the who’s who of the broadcasting industry:

·        Mike Lake, CEO of Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios, who has over 40 years of experience within the International Film and TV industry.
·        Jeffrey Chan, CEO of HK Film Workshop, who championed the remake deal of the Hong Kong contemporary classic, Infernal Affairs.
The Creative Content Production Conference will culminate with two post conference workshops on Friday, 22 June, which will give participants hands-on experience as well as tips & tricks on how to create stunning visual effects and motion graphics.

Don’t forget to walk around the exhibition booths that feature ground-breaking technology and some really interesting and updated software!

Hi there! I face the computer everyday, day and night. I am a web writer by day, and a blogger by night. Though not much of a difference, I enjoy sharing stories through words and photographs and I hope you enjoy reading them too. I believe in superpowers and that Santa will have me on his/her 'good list' one day. Besides managing this blog, I enjoy dance, film, music, theatre, acting and creating clay miniatures too.
