Future

27 Mar

This posts will be thrown to the random catergory. It’s another emo-flo post. More about life discovery I guess.

These few days were an amazing journey for me. Just 2 days of interesting stuffs and it really got me thinking. The Future.

What’s my future? What’s really in for me? What am I going to do? These are the few questions that I was really thinking hard during those ‘me’ times with my ipod in my ears.

Assisting in props for 881 musical really makes me love theatre more day by day. Though I’m not exactly involved in the production, but watching the rehearsals, the dance, the direction cues by the director makes me smile somehow. There was a run last Friday and I was pretty excited to watch it. I loved it. I love musicals and seeing them acting, dancing and singing reminded me of my days in theatre. I miss acting and singing for theatre. Really miss those TC days. I guess the inner part of me really wants to go back to acting and performing on stage. I wanna ‘upgrade’ myself and enroll into courses to learn and explore.

Then there is dance. One of my New Year resolutions this year was to be more involved in dance (street dance) and I’m glad I can safely say I fufilled this resolution of mine. I’m dancing for a musical /recital which will be on this June/July. Please do come and support! :) I’m in the poppin item and dancing makes me feel good and being able to express myself. I’d love to take a step further in dance to learn different genres!

Now, there’s filmcamp which happened at *Scape earlier today. Listening to the filmmakers of today inspired me to make my film too! I love films and definitely will not put a stop to this passion. I want to be an independent filmmaker and show my films to the people out there. Step by step I guess.

Right. I’ve just watched a play called “The Good, the Bad and the Sholay”. Boy, it was awesome in terms of script and directing. Heard that the playwright is a NUS scholar who writes, direct, able to choreograph AND music arrangement. Oh! Did I mention that he acted too? I’m not as smart and talented as this guy, but his style of writing inspires me.

I love to write too! Esp lifestyle and entertainment writing. I want to attend events/concerts/press conferences, interviewing important people and bring the experience into writing for readers. Listening, watching and understanding life these few days really inspire me to carry on updating my little doodle scrapbook of ideas. :)

I’m not going to let this life go by just like that. If I don’t control my life, who will?!
