Singapore Youth Olympic Games YOG – Celebration @Marina Bay
17 Aug
That’s Right. The inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is happening! After years of preparation, months of excitement, the day finally came.
On the 13th August 2010, Singapore is proud to be the host country for YOG. And to celebrate this more-than-awesome event, Singapore has put up a grand celebration concert to commemorate this day. Yes. It also means more Korean Pop groups here.
Cube Entertainment artistes 4minute & B2ST were here in Singapore to perform for the thousand screaming fans.
When MCs Ian and Leeyan were up there introducing the last two acts, you could hear the crowd immediately went wild. Screams and shouts could be heard with the slightest tease by the MCs.

When the countdown video played, fan girls and boys screams were uncontrollable. As the numbers decreased, the decibels of screaming fans increased.

4minute were first. Performing a total about 5 songs, belting out powerful vocals and sexy dance moves to the thousand strong screaming fans. There are pretty cute girls I must say.
In the midst of all the excitement, I could still afford to change the shutter speed and aperture of my camera. I’m still learning this art, so please bear with my pictures.

Fans even sang a birthday song to one of the members. Well, I bet that will definitely be an unforgettable early birthday celebration for her.
After an encore performance, performing “Hot Issue”, it was the ‘beastly’ Hot boys from the 6 member group B2ST aka Beast.
Being a fan of B2ST, no doubt I was really glad and ecstatic to see them in person. Like other thousand fan girls, I couldn’t wait to scream my fav members’ names. At that moment, I wished I had a really unique scream or just something to be the top at the mini ‘screaming competition’.
The boys didn’t disappoint either. Singing their famous hits “Bad Girl”, ”Mystery”, “Special” & “Shock”, one couldn’t ask for more. Besides the beastly, swift dance moves, what really made me feel good about their performance is that they continued to give their 101% despite the humid and hot weather. Wearing a white coat over dancing to these songs is not east feat, and I really respect that.

Thank you boys.
Right. Enough talking. Picture tells a thousand words. So here goes.
